Meet Suzanne Rappaport
With a last name that starts with Rap, is it any wonder I ended up in communications?!
I’ve been fortunate to build a career that spans global agencies and scrappy start-ups — all with one goal: helping businesses, brands, and leaders communicate with clarity and impact.
Whether it’s shaping strategy, refining messaging, developing content, or guiding storytelling, I work closely with leaders and teams to craft communications that connect with the right audiences and drive meaningful results.
My Story

BIG AGENCY BEGINNINGS
I launched my career at a top global PR agency, leading high-impact campaigns for standout brands like Indigo Books & Expedia.
From managing seven-figure budgets to delivering measurable results, I learned how to think on my feet and turn big ideas into real impact — fast.

BUILDING RAP
I left the corporate world to launch Rap Consulting, helping small- to mid-sized agencies and brands as a media relations and brand strategy advisor.
Over the next decade, I partnered with clients like L’Oréal Paris and Aeroplan—launching products, earning tier-one media coverage, and turning strategy into action that delivered measurable results.

SUPPORTING LEADERS
After years of building brands and advising corporations, I saw a gap for more personalized leadership development.
I drew on 20 years of experience to expand into 1:1 executive coaching and team training, helping leaders communicate effectively internally and externally, shape their personal brands, and elevate their visibility.

RAP TODAY
In addition to my advisory work, I have the honour of leading team workshops and taking the main stage to talk all things communication and brand.
I work with leaders to turn ideas into action, strengthen alignment, and build confidence in how they show up and share their message.

Out of Office
When I’m not deep in a communication audit or preparing a training session, you’ll find me running around with my family in the Beaches, or venturing across the city for my boys’ various rep sports.
My two boys often sneak into my keynote speeches, providing endless material on communication, negotiation, and patience.
I love to travel and check new countries off my list, enjoy strong coffee, and am always happy to meet for one—email me anytime to connect.
